Summary: Research collection of materials related to Arizona, the Southwest, and general interest including pamphlets, tourist brochures, news clippings, and scrapbooks. Significant topics include community brochures from Arizona cities and towns, Native American pamphlets, and national parks and monuments guidebooks. There are a small amount of postcards of the Grand Canyon, Petrified Forest, cowboys, and western themes. Fulton's larger postcard collection was not received by the library. There is a body of research concerning Richard Gird as well as smaller amounts about other individuals.

Biographical note: Richard Fulton arrived at Fort Huachuca, Arizona in 1958 to work with the U.S. Army Electronics Proving Ground. His enthusiasm for history led to research on topics in Arizona history and he wrote articles for various publications.
